A.C.E Physio are Ayrshire’s newest supplier of a quality dog food –Skinner’s.

At Ayrshire Canine & Equine Physiotherapy the core essence of our business is to promote the health and well-being of your pet,

Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy treatments can help rehabilitate , condition , improve and maintain fitness, we at A.C.E fundamentally believe that good nutrition plays a vital role in this process.

With the numerous cheap foods on the market made with very little nutritional value other than bulking agents and fillers we were looking to affiliate ourselves with a reputable manufacturer that have the animals well-being as their primary goal, this search brought us to Skinner’s.

Who at the time had recently launched a new product turkey & rice which contains ” joint aid for dogs “ this is a hypoallergenic diet exclusively formulated, which can help maintain healthy joints and promote flexibility and mobility throughout the life of your dog .

This particular product is ideal if your pet suffers from osteoarthritis, degenerative joint disease , hip / elbow dysplasia or has under gone any form of joint surgery.

When feeding this product the manufacturer is confident no further joint supplements would be required.

The Skinner family have been making animal foods for seven generations and produce high quality dog and puppy foods suitable for all breeds

“The Skinner’s mill has been a traditional part of the Suffolk landscape since 1688. The Mill has belonged to the Skinner family for seven generations, but it was the idea of the current Chairman, Roger Skinner, to branch into complete dry dog foods in the early 1970’s – a time when there were very few competitors in this sector of the market. The manufacture of complete dry dog foods was a natural progression from animal feed compounding, and with an excellent reputation already well established the move proved extremely successful.”

The above is a quote direct from skinners web site, for the full story and further product information please go to skinners pet foods

We now carry a significant stock of food and should you wish any further information prices or samples.

After months of uncertainty we have finally moved our practice to a brand new custom built unit very close to Ayr town centre @ Unit 2 , Heathfield Business Park, Boundary Rd,Heathfield Ayr.

Owing to the vast array and size of equipment ( in particular the pool ) the move was fairly complex and as you would expect took more time than anticipated.

We then had the inherent delays caused by the festive period, however moving forward we are finally open for business.

The management would like to thank all our clients who have been very loyal and waited for us to re-open.
